LUMA Vision is a start-up based in Dublin (Ireland) and Munich (Germany) developing cutting edge innovative imaging technologies to significantly advance healthcare and solve truly global unmet clinical needs. With creativity, passion and focus, we apply our best-in-class engineering and design knowhow to create new hardware, software and data science technologies.

To support our clinical expansion and imaging activities, we are looking for an Imaging and Application Scientist (IAS) to join our international team. As IAS, you will be responsible for working with our clinical and research imaging platforms across clinical, technical operations and R&D. You will generate high quality data for use in research, publications, and product development, and closely work with clinical and product teams to maximize data and presentation quality. With LUMA Vision’s first clinical release, you will play a critical role in a startup environment with first market access, and become part of a dynamic group of innovators, shaping the future of imaging in healthcare.

Besides your work on imaging data, in the role as IAS you will provide product and technical assistance to physicians and EP lab staff on the effective use of LUMA vision’s systems and catheter equipment by working directly with hospitals and clinical operators in the U.S. using our imaging platforms.

When in a clinical environment, you are self-sufficient to resolve technical issues with both hardware and application platforms, thanks to your deep understanding of the system and its components. If support is needed, you pro-actively engage relevant company experts to resolve problems in a timely manner.

With your experience in understanding the cardiac anatomy and the workflows in cardiac electrophysiology, you work with clinical experts to identify the best use of our technology and explore imaging and workflow approaches as input for product development activities. As a strong communicator you love being active across different teams and interface with technical operations, clinical activities, as well as product development and R&D.
